my name is MARTINEZ

Living abroad has provided, and will constantly provide, me with enlightenment into society, culture, and myself. Being an elementary school teacher provides me with a story for every emotion. Being newly married will, I'm sure, provide me with interesting experiences. My name is Martinez...

food pictures, stories, and potatos!

we bought a kilo of eggs.  ALL of them were twins.
So.. now on to things that happened in my kitchen on purpose:
potatos:
slice the potatoes without going all the way through

stuff the slits with alternating butter and cheese

after you sprinkle some salt and pepper and olive oil (if you want) on... bake them.  they will end up looking like this.

when they are just right, pour cream over them.  i would suggest finding a way for the cream not to fall out of the potatos.  and top with more cheese (of different variety if you choose) and stick back in the oven for just a few minutes.

you dinner will end up like this :)
"tater tots"
make cauliflower mashed potatoes.  add cheese. and flour? you better look at the original recipe. they are good without frying but frying just make them light, slightly crispy airiness.  yum :)

orange chick and fried rice.  hehe finally something my husband really really likes.
and those are some of my kitchen adventures on the summer.  what about you? have you had any adventures?
